Your invitation or save the date order includes three rounds of proofs/revisions. Additional rounds of revisions may be made for $35 per round. When you receive a proof, it is your responsibility to review it for any errors, such as spelling, date, or punctuation. Once your order has been approved and is sent to print, we cannot make any further changes. If your item has been sent to print with an error that you failed to correct during the proofing process, you will be responsible for any reprinting costs.
The hand-crafted nature of letterpress and foil printing creates slight variations from one printed piece to the next. Any slight irregularities are not flaws, but the result of the artisanal process of working with an antique printing press. We strive to represent the colors shown on our website as accurately as possible, but we cannot guarantee that the printed color will look exactly like the screen color. Letterpress ink color can vary slightly from samples provided to your actual order.
We cannot guarantee that the papers, envelopes or embellishments displayed on our website will be available from our suppliers, particularly during peak seasons. If your selections are unavailable we will notify you and present you with alternative options of the same quality.
Our services are offered on a first come, first served basis. Occasionally, we may become fully booked and unable to accept new orders. We recommend placing your order as early as possible to secure your place in our production schedule. In the event that an order is placed that we are unable to fulfill a refund will be given.
The Client will pay a retainer of $750 before Chatham & Caron has any obligation to design and create proofs for wedding invitations or Save the Dates. The deposit fee is a non-refundable, non-transferable payment, and reserves Chatham & Caron's design services. The retainer shall be applied towards the total cost of the wedding invitations or Save the Dates. By accepting the Terms and Conditions, the Client expressly recognizes and agrees that Chatham & Caron has agreed to reserve the time for performing the design services, and because they spend significant time in designing and coordinating weeks and months prior to an event, and that if the event is canceled, the retainer will not be refunded.
Once your retainer is placed and your information has been collected, we will follow up within 2 to 4 business days with a digital proof of your selected invitation suite. Once your contract has been signed and payment has been received, production begins right away and no further changes can be made.
Invitation orders take approximately 5 to 7 weeks upon approval/payment, plus shipping time. Save the Date orders take approximately 3 to 4 weeks upon approval/payment, plus shipping time. We are not responsible for any delays that may occur in the design and production of your order due to your failure to provide us with any and all necessary information.
In the event of any unforeseen delays, you will be notified promptly and we will keep as close to the original timeline as possible. Due to COVID-19, our suppliers and UPS are experiencing delays out of our control. Refunds will not be extended for shipments delivered late by carriers.
Pricing on our website represents the full retail price in USD and does not include applicable taxes. All prices listed on our website are subject to change without notice. In the event that items on the website are priced incorrectly, we retain the right to cancel and refund any orders placed for the products listed at the incorrect price. There is a minimum order amount of $2500 for wedding invitation orders.
Any and all pricing listed on this website represents the full retail price in United States dollars. We are required to collect sales tax from you even if you reside in a state wherein we have no physical presence, pursuant to South Dakota v. Wayfair.
Standard invitation assembly includes stuffing + application of reply envelope stamp. We do not seal the outer envelopes and do not offer mailing services.
Invitation, Save the Date and day-of orders are shipped via UPS Ground (signature required, no exceptions). Invitation samples are shipped via USPS. Be sure to note that orders may be charged a tax or tariff upon entry to your country. Any customs and import taxes that may apply will be the customer's responsibility.
All packages include a shipment tracking number, but once your items are shipped we have no control over the progress of your shipment and only have access to the shared tracking details. We are not responsible for any loss, delays and damages during shipping. We recommend ordering your paper goods as early as possible to allow for transport and customs in your country.
Due to the custom nature of our services and products, they are non-refundable and not eligible for exchange, return or cancellation. If there is an issue or damage to your product, please contact us at hello@chathamandcaron.com within 5 days of receipt to resolve the issue. If there is a printing error made on our part, we will either reprint the paper goods or provide a credit for the misprint. If there is an error with the wording that was approved by the client, the costs of reprinting must be covered by the client.
Unless otherwise indicated, all designs, images, artwork, copy, graphics and products presented in this website or in the products that you purchase are the sole property of Chatham & Caron. All designs, images, artwork, copy and graphics used during the proofing process are the sole property of Chatham & Caron. These designs, images and artwork may not be used for personal use, reproduction, the creation of derivative works, or any other purpose without consent.
The personal information that you provide on our website will only be used to communicate with you and to fulfill your order. We will never share or sell your information to any third party.
